First it's let's get rid of the greenbelt, and now it's let's make it easier to bulldoze animal habitats so that us humans can expand? This seems so backwards. We are the only species who doesn't live in harmony with other species; can we PLEASE come up with a better solution? I keep seeing south Durham region expanding further and further north, taking away farmlands and important habitats for all animals. Please don't take away these controls. Who cares if permits currently take time? What do we have if not time?
