The new proposed protection does not ensure enough protections for wildlife with the removal of harassment. The protection only of nests and dwellings does not account for protecting the environment that animals depend on as part of their life cycle and even for feeding, mating, and space from other animals. Requiring only a registration does not provide enough oversight over construction projects, that honestly are likely to have very little interests in protecting wildlife species.
