As a grandmother I am really concerned about my grandchildren growing up in a safe environment and making our planet a better place to live. An environmental assessment should ABSOLUTELY be done and not waived because of the Tariffs. I honestly do not understand why this area was chosen for a dump site! It is over 3 hours from Toronto and the number of trucks using so much fuel is going to increase our Carbon Footprint. There must be a better area North of Toronto that would be closer for a dump and not a town close by that would affect so many people.

I voted for the PC's because I believed that they wanted the best for their province's people and I do not believe this is the best solution for Toronto's garbage situation. Would our Premier Doug Ford like to have this dump site beside him and all the Trucks coming to and from the dump site? There has to be a better solution, that would not only save money but not affect so many people and our infrastructure with the hundreds of big trucks using our roads.

I believe you can find an alternate solution that would be beneficial to all involved.
