I am not in favor of the proposed changes to the Endangered species act.

I feel that these changes are disguised as "expediting" the process, but are actually designed to serve the interest of businesses looking to make quicker profits. Once habitats are destroyed, we will never get them back. I feel that we need to look more at small-scale projects such as infilling to create more housing.

Also, I'd rather see funding going towards more public transport, than building more and bigger highways - which just encourages more cars and carbon emissions.

Look to the future folks, think about what kind of place you're leaving for your kids and grandkids!
