This proposal is going to ruin the habitats of endless species in Ontario. You are giving the government the power to remove any and all animals off of the protected species list without any background info needed or needing to prove that the reason behind it is sound. This will allow the government to propose and push forward plans that are going to take place in protected species habitats and just remove the protected species off of the list, therefore making it a non-protected habitat. Allowing people to register online and immediately start on projects will also cause irreparable damage to our environment. Without permits, getting reviewed and being accepted, companies and people are going to register online and possibly be dishonest about the areas surrounding their projects and will endanger animal and plant life. Please reconsider this proposal immediately and figure out a way to make sure that the animals or plant life will not be harmed. Allowing the government to bypass and reduce funding for certain acts and groups will only allow them to have untethered access to resources that our wildlife needs.
