There are so many loopholes…

There are so many loopholes in this proposal that I don’t know where to begin. For every item that purports to be an improvement to the protection of our wildlife and wild/green spaces there is an escape route for those who would wantonly destroy natural spaces. This would appear to be one more move to profit corporations seeking to capitalize on the need for housing at the expense of all else. There is no need to destroy natural settings-there surely is adequate room for infilling and density increases in the urban areas already in existence that would satisfy the housing need.
