This proposed law is a complete disgrace. Allowing municipalities to override environmental protections for the creation of just 50(!) jobs will be an unmitigated disaster. If this bill does what it says, then a manufacturing plant which uses mostly robotic labour but employs 50 people would get a free pass to build wherever or however they want. The world is headed toward environmental disaster, these types of backwards policy ideas will only speed our planets demise.
