As as a citizen Chatham Kent, I strongly oppose the removal of the Environmental Assessment Requirements by Doug Ford. So York1 can start trucking garbage to the small community of Dresden.
This will allow garbage run off into the creeks. This will ultimately flow downstream via the Sydenham River.
There's so much wildlife and aquatic life that will be destroyed!
Not to mention property values will drop.
People's quality of life will be affected greatly.
I'm not a scientist but I do know the effects of having truck traffic, garbage etc on the wildlife in Chatham-Kent.
