Dresden is being confronted…

Dresden is being confronted with York 1s landfill polluting our towns air with noise ,pollution, endangering our habitat,ecosystem, flooding and health issues.

York 1 is disregarding our road safety with up to 700 trucks a day into a small farming town with hundreds of farm machinery and school buses. In the surrounding
Endangering our land, farmland that will also along compromise our town’s economy.

York 1s information relayed to Dresden residents has not been accurate or forthcoming. How many reasons do we need to stop York 1. It is documented that landfills should be much greater than 1 km from where we live.

How many messages and repeated signatures does it take to see that Dresden does not agree or welcome York 1 to our rural town with all their pollution from the GTA.

A full environmental assessment was suppose to take place to protect the people of Dresden and their families from the poisons that our town will be facing.

Passing Bill 5 by the government will just be another fast track for York 1 to continue to decieve our town

Dresden needs protection and to continue with the environmental assessment or move this to somewhere appropriate that won’t kill our wildlife, endangered species and contaminate our Sydenham River and watersheds.

It’s not hard for anyone to see what York 1 represents. Destruction and the end of our beautiful strong community. There is no regard to what Dresden would be losing. What if this was your back yard ???

Everyone should be ashamed this is even an option directly beside our town, children and schools !
