While I appreciate the notion to make Ontario more competitive in the face of tariffs, this is not the way to do it. This bill will directly negatively affect my child's and my future grandchildren's future for a healthy environment.

This sounds too much like the U.S. allowing for special "trusted proponents" to have carte-blanch over the environment. Our economics are not an excuse to put the environment, human health and vulnerable members of society at risk.

I voted for conservatives because of the way Premier Ford was standing up to the US. I did not vote for Ontario to become like the US. Be different. Prioritize the environment and the Ontario people over developers. Find a different way.
