I oppose bill 5.
I want stronger environmental protections and the protection of endangered species. I oppose shortcuts for industry. I oppose overriding the law in special economic zones.

Doug Ford's agenda is problematic, short sighted and in general leans in the direction of corrupt greed mongering. He flies in the face of using our resources and services responsibly to grow actually grow our industry in a way we can be proud of.

Do we really think that favouring Ford's chosen contractors, putting them above very intentionally placed laws and regulations to protect our environment and ecosystems is going to lead to good outcomes? Do we think that doing things like undermining clean renewable energy production is actually a wise path forward?

Anyone who supports this bill should really take stock of their priorities and ask themselves if they are truly a public servant of this land and it's peoples or just a stooge letting the system rot under their watch. Do better.
