I oppose Bill 5. This bill would repeal Ontario’s Endangered Species Act, weaken environmental protections and hand cabinet the power to fast-track industrial development with no public input. As a concerned citizen and mother of 5 adult children and 3 grandchildren, I am extremely worried about the impact of industry apathy and environmental neglect for our collective future. Currently, one of my son's is an environmental engineer and works in preserving wetlands in Ontario. The lack of urgency by the government to address self serving decision making and put money ahead of future generations' needs is a very concerning trend. Please oppose Bill 5 until further deliberation and consultation can be explored. Thank you! A very concerned Grandma
