I think the proposal to scrap the Endangered Species Act is a colossal mistake. We are in a global biodiversity crisis and should be strengthening the protections of our endangered species rather than dismantling them. We have a responsibility to the natural world that we must not shirk for convenience and financial gain and I feel Bill 5 is doing just that.
