This bill disregards Indigenous rights to preserve their culture. Efficiencies can always be found but eliminating it as a pre-requisite for development is not the way. There are thousands of sites and potential burial grounds, many undocumented, that could be impacted and destroyed. As we also continue to fight global warming and environmental issues as a whole we cannot ignore the fact that this bill also puts at risk environmental assessments and ensuring at risk species are not negatively impacted.
