This is a disastrous removal of process by the provincial government. There are plenty of places for development without resorting to this kind of legislation. Ontario is not a dictatorship, and should not be for sale to whoever can get their hands on a piece of property. Heritage groups, First Nations groups and local citizens need to have input.
