I am against Bill 5. The Special Economic Zones Act and Unleashing Our Economy Act allow too much leeway for special interest parties and developers to impact Ontario enviromental issues. They also make room for political favouritism for certain developers and special interest groups who may have undue influence over politicians who owe them a favour.

Bill 5 will enable freedom to overlook legitimate environmental concerns in the interest of financial gain. This is unprecedented and should not be allowed.
