This bill is a vile betray of Ontarian's trust in our legal system. It's incredibly against the will of Canadians who do not actively seek the destruction of wildlife, their homes, or our country's heritage. We need green spaces and wildlife preserves BEYOND the Parks system since these green spaces support species at risk and watershed that assist in flood management and biodiversity.
The sheer lack of indigenous voice in this bill furthers Doug Ford's agenda to only benefit those around him.
Doug Ford is masking legislation with the guise of building more homes but for who? They're entirely unaffordable and solely profit the developers who nickel and dime Canadians from their first house or force them into rental situations because of extremely high prices and unplayable mortgages.
This is not "unleashing" our economy, this is the destruction of our province, the ignorance to the communities we live with, and another attempt at the Greenbelt Scandal. This bill is should not pass as if a gross misuse of power that the Ford government has perpetuated since day one.
