The Proposal to establish a hunting season for double-crested cormorants in Ontario is completely inappropriate way to control a populations, and is clearly biased towards those who value their bottom line over environmental protection and the lives of thousands of birds. The evidence for this case is weak at best, and as an active voter, this is a proposal that I do not support, which will lead me to not vote or advocate for any public official who supports this proposal. Please listen to the majority of people who want to protect the environment and the different animals that live in the environment. History shows that when human purposefully alter ecosystems there can be disastrous consequences.
