I strongly oppose the removal of the Environmental Assessment (EA) requirement for the proposed landfill in Dresden, Ontario.
This site is 500m from homes, 800m from a school, and sits above the Kettle Point aquifer — linked to the 2021 Wheatley
I strongly oppose the weakening of Ontario’s Endangered Species Act and the creation of a parallel “Species Conservation Act.”
This opens the door to habitat destruction, greenwashing, and offsetting that does not work.
Species protection should not be traded for development gains. I call on the Ministry to withdraw these proposals and uphold the original ESA commitments.

ERO 025-0391 – Special Economic Zones
I oppose the Special Economic Zones Act, which would allow the government to bypass environmental, labour, and Indigenous rights protections.
It gives too much unchecked power to cabinet and creates zones where public consultation can be ignored.
Ontario needs strong environmental laws — not carve-outs for profit. Scrap this proposal.
