Mining is the most destructive and polluting industry that devastates land, soil and water. To get rid of environmental assessments is ludicrous and outrageous. There has to be accountability and transparency in the way our government creates laws. This gives far too much power to the corporate interests and tramples the rights of vulnerable species, Indigenous communities and future generations who need a healthy environment.
