This proposal is un-democratic! It should not be allowed to pass, and should never have been proposed. If passed, this would set the stage for unprecedented government corruption where there is bias to favor locations, projects and proponents. This is entirely for big business profits - and absolutely not for general economic prosperity or housing that will actually solve the housing crisis. Any area, project or proponent being 'permit free' is an enormous setback in provincial government in general. This will have an extremely negative impact on the environment, historic infrastructure, indigenous rights and even human safety and labor policy.
