This bill would make every environmental protection, including the environmental "bill of rights" optional at the government's discretion. It's not really a bill of rights if it's optional.

It would also make protections for health, safety, heritage, culture, First Nations, Franco-Ontarians, and people in general optional.

It makes every law optional, and allows the government to substitute its own laws in their place. It is essences ends responsible government, establishing the Minister and Lieutenant Governor in Council as the Legislature and Municipal Council for all of Ontario, neither of whom is elected to those positions by the people of Ontario or the Municipalities affected. There is no more democratic rule in Ontario, the elected Legislature's and municipal council laws and by-laws would be suggestions to the Minister and Lieutenant Governor in Council.
