These proposed changes will bring extreme threat to the environment/nature of Ontario in the name of economic potential. We are at a critical juncture as a human species to protect and nurture nature back to health, not speed towards destroying it even more quickly than we already are. We do not own these lands, but merely stewarding it for future generations. If we treat any protective regulations as "red tape," what nature will there remain for the future generations? The current administration is willfully ignoring the harm these proposed changes (and the Bill 5 in general) will bring not only to the current environment and all the vulnerable peoples/animals, but terribly negative impacts on the future generations as well. I urge you to withdraw these changes and the Bill 5 altogether.
