We wish to register our strongest opposition to the proposal.
And we urge the Minister veto the request and will not accept a revised one without
a. consulting not only current land users but also those who will be eminently affected;
b. laying out in full detail traffic flows;
c. complying with living density parameters in that area, and
d. addressing satisfactory all environmental degradation concerns.
We have purchased a unit in the senior residence block at the same site currently under construction by Mon Sheong Foundation. The 38 storey proposal will certainly adversely affect our living conditions and the environment. It will also be out of tune with the heights of buildings in the vicinity. There is also a fairness of information issue because we did not have the knowledge of the current proposal when we committed to the purchase. Only some purchasers were verbally told there might be a second phase.
