There is a lot of pressure to license even more gravel pits in the vicinity of the Walker operation and so it is somewhat shocking that a water taking application of this magnitude: up to 7,920 000 litres daily , every day for 10 years- can just be applied for as an amendment to a license without notifying adjacent landowners.
