I would like to state my objection to granting Walker Aggregate a Category 3 permit to take water. Water is a precious resource that is essential for the well being of all who live within its watershed. Allowing unfettered access to a corporation promotes careless use of this resource and encourages the company to treat the environment as if it was a 'free' resource.

A company should pay for access to water.

It is the government's responsibility to its citizens to protect their right to water and not let it be squandered by a company who profits at the cost of the common good.

It is up to the government to take in the well being of all and protect the water supply for this and future generations.

I urge that, at the maximum, the government grant a Category 1 permit to take water.
