Please do not approve the application for water extraction for the Redford Pit owned by Walker Aggregates. I live close to the Redford Pit and I believe my water table levels will be seriously impacted by the daily extraction of millions of litres of water for use to wash aggregate especially if it is for use at Walker's Cement site in Hanover. Our community is currently inundated with multiple applications from aggregate producers to develop new pits or quarries. The taking of excessive amounts of water from our community will be detrimental to our quality of life, and possibly our property values. I strenuously oppose the unfettered expansion of the aggregate industry in our area.
