Transfering these beach areas to the town will be the first step in losing access to the beach and water as we know it. It may not happen immediately but rest assured that there will be a push for development that will raise much more money than the the population that enjoys that beautiful natural resource supplies in parking fees. Who knows, maybe we'll end up getting a boardwalk to walk around some sprawling marina that only provides parking for the people that have a boat and deep pockets.
