I am vehemently opposed to this proposal. Nancy Island HIstorical site and the beaches must remain under the Historical Parks Act as a Provincial Park. It is an important part of Ontario and Canadian history and critical habitat to endangered species.
Transferring to the Tourism and Gaming ministry or to the Town of Wasaga Beach are not an option. Critical, sensitive habitat and our history would be destroyed.
