I support the development of Wasaga Beach and the transfer of lands and responsibility to the town. I do not support $25 million on Nancy Island. A hotel is bring built for $45 million, so in what world should it take $25 million to refurbish This attraction. It is an interesting history, however it was never a huge attraction to warrant this cost. It will never be recouped. I could see 2-3 million, and even that seems a stretch. Otherwise put that money towards a family fun attraction at Wasaga Beach that might get the money back and be a big draw to the beach. Nancy Island never was and never will be a big draw. Interesting but not $25 million interesting.
