Please do not give control of beach 1 and 2 to the town of Wasaga Beach. The park at the mouth of the Nottawasaga river is a beautiful and unique place and plans to turn this into a harbour or “increase tourism”, most likely by building on it, will destroy this natural area even more. The town’s revitalization should focus on doing something with the many vacant and dilapidated properties that already exist in the commercial area and they should not be given control of protected park land.
