I believe that all "taking water permits" should not be transferred when companies change hands or are sold. In fact, I believe all "taking water permits" should be cancelled as we are not completely sure just how much water is available in the aquifers.

Water is essential for life and should not be sold by private companies. Although water is not free, municipalities charge users, private companies should not be making huge profits selling a "public good".

With all the effects of "Climate Change", we should be aware of the limited supply of fresh water considering all the droughts Canada has faced in the last few years.
