I am opposed to this proposal. Greenbelt and other protected lands are resources that help sustain communities. They contain water sources and major carbon-capture resources - trees. These lands have been protected for very valid reasons. They are not in the gift of the Premier or any party, to forward an ideology, or as political favours to developers.
The planning literature shows that Ontario has sufficient land, idle, and already held by developers to satisfy 'business'needs.
