Thanks for the chance to comment on the proposed changes to the way licenses to take water are dealt with. Water is the most important public resource in Ontario and we must do everything we can to safeguard it. Careful oversight and Indigenous consultation is crucial. The idea that water is so abundant we can be 'flexible' to keep development 'moving' is a myth that benefits corporations and developers NOT the public good. I ask you to not approve these changes.
