As a climber who frequents Devils glen, I think adding the additional 18 hectares of land to the provincial park is a great improvement. I also think making climbing officially recognized by Ontario parks is a great step for both the climbing community and Ontario parks. Climbing has been part of Devils glen for many years and being able to continue climbing there perseveres the history of the area.
