In general I am neutral on the changes in the proposal, though they seem reasonable, but I am strongly in favour of the recognition of rock climbing as a recreational use of the park space. Rock climbing is now internationally recognized as an olympic sport, and supporting this recreational use is important, especially with the limited amount of such access in the region.
