Why create this proposal…

Why create this proposal instead of just following the EAA?
It makes me feel like there are aspects under the EAA that will be ignored. The proposal doesn't specify if/what will be excluded from the Act. If there is information being excluded, then I don't feel this is meaningful consultation because it's not providing the public with the full information to make an informed decision.

I support full protection of the environment. Understanding a project's impacts is important to avoid issues (e.g., pollution, whcih can cause so many negative impacts including health to humans/wildlife). It is also less costly to prevent than clean up issues. I ask that every aspect of the EAA be included if this proposal is accepted.
