As a climber whom frequently travels to the region to enjoy the outdoors and amazing climbing Devil's Glen has to offer; I am in support of the changes and what this means to the outdoor community. I have been climbing in Ontario for over 15 years and this is the first time that such a unique opportunity has occurred in Ontario Parks. Other conservations like Halton Conservation have worked closely with the climbing community making their parks a safe hub to recreate in. Unfortunately, at Devil's Glen there has and continues to be vandalism to the climbing routes from a disgruntled local making it very unsafe and an unwelcoming environment. This amendment would legitimize climbing in the park and would make tis disgruntled local's actions illegal leading to a safer environment where climbers would feel more at ease to returning to the park.
