Climbing at Devil's Glen and the surrounding area of Beaver Valley is extremely important part of a creating mixed recreation areas that allow people to enjoy nature in a variety of ways.

Devil's Glen is also very beginner friendly with a mix of easier climbing grades. There are not many beginner friendly climbing areas in Ontario, which they are very important to allow people to safely participate in the sport and learn how to do it probably without putting themselves in risk of getting hurt, or stuck and needing more advanced rescue skills.

Climbing also brings economic benefits to the area. I travel to the area from Toronto at least 3 times a year from Toronto stay in motels, or camp, eat at restaurants, shop at grocery stores, and buy supplies.

Climbing is a fun, healthy, and educational activity that brings people and economic benefits to more rural areas, and Devil's Glen is an integral destination for climbing in Beaver Valley and the larger Collingwood area.
