As a consistent user of various parts of the escarpment including Devils Glen over many years, i would say that rock climbers are some of the most conscientous user groups out there enjoying the natural world. Constant reminders to pick up garbage thrown over cliffs by others as well as maintaining / sticking to trails etc. makes me proud to be a member of said community. I would be grateful if the constant back and forth in regards to Devils Glen specifically was put to rest and it became officially recognized as a place we could all enjoy and where rock climbing is officially recognized as one of the permitted uses of the park.
