As someone who has enjoyed climbing at Devils Glen for over 10 years it is a special place for me and I fully support the changes to the Park Management Plan for Devil's Glen which formalizes climbing.

Climbing is a similar environmental impact to the existing hiking in the area and with the added benefit of most climbers take pride in their climbing areas, cleaning up for others, leading stewardship and mentoring others on how to treat areas with respect.

The climbing areas at Rattlesnake and Nemo can be taken as a successful implementation of legalized climbing where it both contributes to the park (organized OAC park clean up events) and is enjoyed by the climbers.
