I believe there is a need to enforce some manner of population control for this species. I have witnessed the sheer numbers of these birds in our waterways, first hand. They are extremely voracious eaters, staying submerged for up to 80 minutes at at time; all the while eating everything they can. Not only do they threaten fish species but they are threatening food sources for other waterfowl. I am in support of this proposal.
