I have no faith in the governments intentions to protect any species at risk. This government has shown by its actions that development and the economy will always trump (pun intended) the environment and developers know this. From “pay to slay” options to reducing the size of protected areas to eliminate the connectivity that species need to flourish and the removal of 106 species from protected status and a callous disregard fro the importance of wetlands to the environment as a whole this government has no regard whatsoever for the environment.
