I live on Sunny Lake, Gravenhurst, Ontario for over 20 years. There used to be loon pairs on this lake every summer. Cormorants have pushed them out and now there are no loons anymore. Only cormorants and geese.
I think it is a shame and something should be done. Culling the cormorants makes sense to me.
