We appreciate the interest in streamlining the process for review and approval of source
protection plans, and the interest in standardizing policies for drinking water threats where
it is appropriate do so.

The Source Protection Plan for the Saugeen, Grey Sauble, Northern Bruce Peninsula Source
Protection Region contains few outright prohibitions related to drinking water threats.

We encourage the province to consult on policies that may be proposed to
be standardized or prohibited through regulations in order to consider potential refinements
or circumstances where these policies are important to address threats to drinking water
supplies.
