I do not support this proposal to consolidate and restructure conservation authorities in Ontario, particularly in the wake of this government’s Green Belt scandal.
Have First Nations been consulted on the proposal? What were their considerations for this proposed change to land and water management of shared resources? How will the proposed changes better integrate and strengthen Indigenous communities and local expertise into conservation?
