This just sounds like a workaround for Ford’s friends to be allowed to destroy the Greenbelt for their own development projects, which will only put money in their own pockets and do nothing to solve the housing crisis. What we need is affordable housing in Ontario, not fewer protected species.
These animals have a right to their homes just as people do, and this bill will not help the people of Ontario or the animals, only Ford and his rich friends.
