I find it appalling that the people who are meant to be taking care of this country are pushing so hard to do the exact opposite by quite literally removing protections for the species that make this country what it is. All you people want is destruction for your deranged view of progress being the end all be all. Have you ever stopped to consider that you cannot grow infinitely? That your precious ring of fire is going to run out of resources at a exponential rate? Do you care even the smallest amount about your great grandchildren being able to enjoy the childlike wonder of holding a frog in their hands, chancing upon a deer in the forest, listening to the song of a whip poor will on a camping trip? Does any of this mean anything to you? Are we going to wreck what we have and sell out to the billionaires down south once we've drained ourselves for all we're worth?
