It is preposterous that the government thinks it is appropriate for them to deem what constitutes a species as being endangered. This is an appalling ploy to roll back environmental protections to support development that will harm the natural environment of our beautiful province and harm biodiversity in the region. Development in the Province of Ontario should be well-informed by robust, unbiased scientific knowledge and should not encroach on territories that are ecologically sensitive. Please scrap the proposed amendments!
