My comment relates to Boyne Valley Provincial Park addition.
I am a weekly user of the Boyne Valley Park and its various trails. I walk with my dog, my wife and often with visiting friends. The park affords well marked and maintained trails with a variety, length and difficulty levels that are both challenging and enjoyable for many of us regular walkers. Also I frequently see many other single, small groups and clearly larger organized groups hiking the park regularly throughout the year. Winter included. This regular and consistent use of the park is in part, but not solely, because it is part of the Bruce Trail system and considered safe for year round use.
Consequently I am very concerned and dismayed that hunting might be permitted on and near trails which are frequented by so many individuals and families.
I recognize that hunting is allowed on lands near to the current park but at a safe enough distance from the vast majority of users.
I strongly dissagree with the proposal to allow hunting on this critical section of the Bruce Trail and current local facility.
